As you may know, the Naitonal 40 Days for Life starts today and runs through Nov. 4. Check the website for more details. You know the drill, prayer, fasting, etc. :)

Uughh

I had the most disgusting fried rice today at dinner. Somehow, the people at Sodexho think that all you need for Asian food is soy sauce. Well, I'm here to tell you that that "fried rice" was about 50% soy sauce, and I think I'm going to have a heart attack from all the salt just in the little bit I managed to choke down. It was that bad.

So shout out to Pick UP Stix on Poway Rd. I've officially decided that I'm not just prejudiced, theirs is the best Chinese. Someone go get an egg fried rice, extra egg, and think of me.

I just realized that, as much as I dislike History, I'm glad to be taking it rather than English this semester.

Random Things

I was walking down to church today and realized that I've been in choir so long, it just feels weird to be able to go to whichever Sunday Mass I want.

There's rootbeer here. And it doesn't run out like it does at home, but I still drink milk.

Can I quickly remind the world that asterisks are supposed to come in pairs?

When you're having...um...fun...

I don't know whether to credit it to having fun or just to being busy busy, but it seems like time is just zipping by - especially the weeks (which could be good or bad). It seems like just yesterday it was the weekend, and then I realize that yesterday was the next weekend. OK, that wasn't witty so much as awkward.

Anyway, I hope time is acting appropriately for all you, so that it won't be forever till I see you again.
