It's beginning to feel a lot like autumn. Temps in the high 50s. As much as fall is my favorite season back home, I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for cold weather yet. But I do miss my sweaters. :)
Anyway, I've been at FUS for about a month now, and I've picked up a few things. Some social rules that I thought I'd pass on. These are only some generalizations, I'm sure there are more. Enjoy.
-Show up for Mass early if you want a seat.
-Everyone sings... unless it's Latin Mass parts, then it's optional.
-Because we're not in San Diego, every door is two doors, but still never let anyone open the door for themselves, especially if they're a girl.
-Don't graduate before more than half of the teeshirts in your closet relate to FUS, many of them hand-made.
-Attire for daily Mass is jeans and a teeshirt, but wear a dress or suit to Sunday Mass.
Love ya guys, -Rebekah
