I got back from Catherine's Care tonight to find my door all decked out. It's RUAH week! I was so surprised and excited. This is the time when the whole household gets to have fun with its intents. (in different senses of the word) I'll be describing all this weeks happenings and events in detail as they go, but for now, I have to go to bed. The first thing I have to do is go to 6:30 am Mass!
God bless,

What does RUAH stand for?
And what is Catherine's Care?
Ruah is Hebrew for "Spirit"
We're probably pronouncing it wrong, though :)
Catherine's Care Center is the nursing home I visit every week.
I would pronounce it ROO-AAH, like a cheer...that would be appropriate.ycpydoa
I spelled Grandma wrong and it didn't give me an opportunity to correct it.
My bad!!!
That's ok, Grandman :)
We do pronounce it "Roo-aah", but that's probably not the correct Hebrew pronunciation. It sounds too much to me like Oo-Rah/You-Rah/Boo-Rah/other military battle cry things. But that's cool too.
It's Roo ach - with that gutteral "ch" sound.
God bless you!
