Flight Troubles

So, it was 10:00 pm on Saturday night. I was packing for my flight back to Steubenville that was scheduled to leave the next morning at 7:10 am. My dad reminded me to check in online (I had thought that it couldn't be done till midnight, but the start of check-in was 24 hours before) and we found out that my flight had been canceled due to fog. Ahh!

Dad called Southwest Airlines and managed to get my ticket changed, but the flight now left at 9:50 am, three hours later. This wouldn't have been a problem, really. We were all supposed to check into the dorms between 12 and 6 pm, but there's a little wiggle-room left over for traveling troubles. The real issue was getting from the airport to Steubenville. I had a ride all queued up at 4:30, but Joyce was sweet and patient enough to come at 7:30 instead. But... my flight out of Midway was delayed half an hour, so she had to wait till 8:00 to finally pick me up. Fortunately, my luggage did not get lost.

So, there's that. I'll be blogging more soon, hopefully after I finish some homework. Until then,
