Your candy or your sanity - you can't have both!

I'm not an idiot. I know an adjective when I see one. And the pronunciation is just all sorts of ludicrous. Apparently there are two stressed syllables in the word, and you can pronounce the (t) if you want to. I think I was better off during lent giving up sweets. (This is a snickers wrapper, by the way.)

I agree that that word is an adjective and there is no way it could be a noun.
However, it is possible that there are multiple ways of pronouncing it, with or without the 't,' though I have a hard time pronouncing the 't.'
Also, there definitely are two stressed syllables, although the 'stan' syllable is the secondary stress. Usually it's designated by a thinner apostrophe.
